CEMETERY REGULATIONS

Cemetery Regulations


Please help us maintain the beauty and dignity of these sacred grounds by observing following regulations.


PERMITTED (for a period of two weeks only)


  • Candles, flowers, flags and wreaths may be placed on the following Holidays:
    EASTER – MOTHERS DAY – MEMORIAL DAY
    FATHERS DAY – ALL SAINTS DAY – CHRISTMAS
  • One candle only for each monument if fastened to the ground and within container.
  • Planting of low laying flowers that extend no further than 12 inches from the base of the stone. These flowers must also keep the name on the stone in clear view.

NOT PERMITTED


  • Any alterations of the grave site. That means no digging, adding top soil and planting trees and shrubs.
  • No free standing items on the grave or monument.
  • Plastic, glass or Styrofoam containers or vases, bricks, stones, wood or metal planters and any type of decorations.
  • Artificial flowers of any type.
  • Potted plants of any type.
  • Fencing or borders consisting of granite, bricks, wood, plastic, shells, stones and other materials are prohibited and subject to immediate removal and disposal.
  • Cemetery is not responsible for any existing fencing installed without permission.
  • Planting flowers further than 12 inches from foundation.
  • Animals are not permitted in the cemetery
  • Playing radios or music of any type.
  • No alcoholic beverages of any type.
  • Trees and shrubs on individual graves are prohibited and subject to immediate removal and disposal.
  • The cemetery reserves the right at any time to remove any decorations that have become damaged or have become unsightly.

MORE REGULATIONS


If you have lost a loved one within in the last year that is buried in our cemetery, please read the following:

  • It takes up to one year or longer (depending on the weather) for the graves to settle.
  • The grave will be filled and seeded by one of the caregivers after the grave is settled.

VETERANS SECTION


Planting of flowers, shrubs, trees of any kind and placing any free standing items on the grave and the cross is not permitted. This section is to be kept in the military order.
