Grief & After Care

Where there is grief, there are questions

The post-funeral days can be difficult. More so for some people. That’s why we have close ties with support groups and services that help with grief.

Whether wondering how to deal with grief or questioning how to provide comfort for a friend many people are simply unaware of how to cope with grief and its effects.

At the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa our desire is to do all we can to assist during such an emotional time. That’s why we provide a variety of resources, with hope that they might provide a source of comfort and maybe even address some of the questions.

GET SUPPORT FROM OUR PAULINE FATERS

The honoring and remembrance of our loved ones is an important emotional need for all of us. It is a need that continues long after the funeral.

We’ve found that remembering a loved one with a special tribute or a memorial service often helps families work through difficult times. Please join us for our Votive or memorial program and we’ll take a moment to remember and celebrate that life… together.

“Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes! He helps us in all our troubles, so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God.”

(2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
