Thanksgiving Day
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Wishing You and Your Family a Beautiful and Blessed Day!
“Remember the past with gratitude. Live the present with Enthusiasm. Look forward to the future with confidence.”- St. John Paul II
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
A Thanksgiving Day is a day when we give thanks to the Lord for everything, for the gift of life, good health, for our families, friends, and especially for all the blessings and graces that we receive from His bounty. Perhaps it is good to be thankful especially in the time of this worldwide pandemic, and in this way entrusting more to God, our caring Father.
The most perfect way to thank God is to do so, by attending a Holy Mass. A reason why the Eucharist is an appropriate way to celebrate Thanksgiving Day is because the Greek word Eucharist means “thanksgiving.” The Mass has always been associated with a desire to give thanks to God. For this reason, the first Catholics who came to the United States offered a Mass of thanksgiving, thanking God for preserving their life after a long voyage over the Atlantic Ocean.
That is why we would like to invite you to joins us, all Pauline Fathers and Brothers, on this Thanksgiving Day for Holy Mass and Rosary Devotion at our Shrine at 11:30 am in the Chapel of Our Lady of Czestochowa (lower church).

We will be praying for you and giving thanks to God for all the blessings that each one of us receives.
With prayers,
The Pauline Fathers & Brothers
