Art Exhibit & Museum of St. John Paul II
In American Czestochowa we present the collections entrusted to us by pilgrims coming to this Sanctuary. Our vocation is not limited to cultivating only spiritual goods, but also treasures of national culture and memory of our great countrymen.
Therefore, at our Shrine, there is an exhibition hall with many memorabilia/remembrance related to John Paul II, including the chasuble and the cassock of John Paul II, as well as a collection of stamps commemorating His pastoral visits and many more.
In addition, we have a rich collection of paintings by outstanding artists of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, such as Wojciech Kossak, Jan Styka, Adam Styka, Tadeusz Styka and others, as well as a rich collection of icons.
In connection with the recently celebrated consecutive anniversaries of the death and canonization of John Paul II, we cordially invite all pilgrims and guests to visit our exhibition hall, so that the memory of Pope JPII will remain alive in us.
The exhibition hall of papal memorabilia and paintings by Polish artists, located at the entrance to the lower Chapel next to the elevator, will be open every Sunday from 10.30 am to 2 pm.
We invite you to visit,
Pauline Fathers & Brothers
