Pulaski Day Parade in Philadelphia
ctober is celebrated as Polish-American heritage month in USA. Therefore, on Sunday October 14, 2018, 85th annual Pulaski Day Parade took place in Philadelphia center city. This year’s parade was very special because it celebrated the 100th anniversary of Poland’s Independence, which was regained in November 1918. There were many Polish groups and organizations that participated in this event, among them of course from American Czestochowa.

The Parade took place on Benjamin Franklin Blvd. Parkway and took about two hours. Although the event in the historic first US capital is definitely smaller than on New York’s Fifth Avenue, it was a great presentation of Polish culture and tradition, joyful singing and dancing.
