March for Life in Philadelphia 2021
The Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa has organized a bus for the March for Life in Philadelphia, organized by Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia in lieu of attending the annual March for Life in Washington D.C., due to the ongoing pandemic. The group from our Shrine participated in the Holy Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia, presided by Archbishop Nelson Perez. Bishop Joseph Coffey, an Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, preached the homily. After the Eucharist our group joined the march, walking through Race St. and Market St. and praying in front of the abortion mill on the way. The March has ended at the Independence Mall with the Pro-Life Rally.
