Memorial of All the Saints of the Pauline Order
Are there any Pauline Saints?
YES!
Though the sanctity of the numerous members of our Order has been witnessed by countless graces both during and after this life, the Pauline monks, following an old tradition, have never sought the canonization of their members. Each member of the community who dies is buried in prayerful confidence that he has obtained sanctity in this life.
That is why on November 7th, the Pauline Fathers and Brothers celebrate the Memorial of All the Saints of the Pauline Order. Today, we ask for intercession of many holy Pauline monks, many of whom were martyrs, passionate preachers, hardworking brothers, and humble monks.
Almighty ever-living God, who ever adorn, protect and keep your church with the different splendors of the saints, graciously grant that by the prayers of blessed Paul the First Hermit and his holy sons, the merits of all of whom you have granted us to honor on one feast day, both that we may be purified from every fault and that we may fully enjoy eternal glory in the future. Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.
