PHISHING SCAM ALERT

Dear Friends of American Czestochowa, A number of phishing scam attempts have been brought to our attention. In those emails someone falsely claimed to be Father Tadeusz Lizinczyk, Provincial of the Pauline Fathers and Brothers in the USA, and tried to convince members of our Shrine community to purchase gift cards to support the Shrine or for different charity causes. We caution you to be aware of this scam and NOT to send any donations in this way. All the donations requests are always handled by our Shrine office, using official means of communications......

Christmas Concert in American Czestochowa

One of the characteristic realities summarizing the symbolism and reflecting on the spirit of Christmas are Christmas carols and pastorals, which allows us to tell the story of the birth of Jesus through singing. Christmas carols represent a special religious wealth of each country, as sung in different languages they allow you to feel the spirit of community based on faith and love for our Lord. The wealth of the United States is undoubtedly multiculturalism, also in a religious sense, because this country was created and is created by the generation of......

Christmas in American Czestochowa

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us (John 1:14) Saint John, describes differently from the Evangelists- the coming into the world, the Son of God. This description is based on two symbols: the word and the light, a more mystical meaning, reflecting on the spirit and not only on the historical facts. Of course, we need to know when and where Jesus was born, who was present at His birth, so as not to diminish saving this event to some ancient mythology or science fiction novel. The description of......

Christmas at the Pauline Monastery in Doylestown

Christmas gives off the feeling of togetherness, gathering families at the table on Christmas Eve, allowing them to break free from their life’s problems for a while, focusing on God and His infinite love for man. In our Pauline monastery that we serve at, American Czestochowa, the Christmas Eve supper was held at 7:00PM, preceded by the Christmas Vigil Mass in the church with the faithful......
