During this current year, we are celebrating a hundredth anniversary of the birth of Karol Wojtyla, who later became Pope John Paul II. He was born in on May 18, 1920, in Wadowice, Poland. He became a Pope of the Roman Catholic Church in 1978. His ministry and teachings were a great gift for all of us. That is why during this special time we want to celebrate this amazing man, sharing our memories of him (especially of his two visits to our Shrine, which he made as a Cardinal) and pondering upon his words. We also want to grow in our devotion through his intercession and as he has always taught us, we want to consecrate ourselves to Mary – Totus Tuus.
