Many interesting events took place at our Shrine this year. A lot of people made their pilgrimage to visit the Shrine of the Blessed Vrigin Mary of Czestochowa. On November 30th the American people have been saddened by the news of the death of George H. W. Bush, the 41st US President. Remembering his life, presidency and his legacy, it is a good moment to recall his visit to our Shrine in Doylestown. On April 13, 1980 George H. W. Bush have visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa as a Presidential Candidate. During this time he was campaigning for the Presidential nomination in the Pennsylvania Republican primary.
