Holy Triduum celebrations at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa began with Holy Thursday’s Mass of the Lord’s Supper, continuing with Good Friday’s Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion, and then concluding with Easter Vigil on Saturday evening. Palm Sunday – the Sunday of the Passion of the Lord, which this year was celebrated on April 14th, is a special day of preparation for the Easter Triduum. During all the Masses at our Shrine, the Passion of the Lord was read. The blessing of palms took place during all the Masses, commemorating in this way the solemn entrance of Jesus to Jerusalem.
