The Shrine Music Ministry – Choir Practice

There is a special joy found in singing the Mass as it touches your spirit in a different way. The Shrine Choir meets Wednesday evenings for rehearsal from 7:00-9:00pm. The choir sings at the 11:00 am Mass on the first and third Sundays of the month in addition to providing music at other special celebrations.

The Shrine choirs’ musical selections are chosen to support the Mass and may be offered in English, Latin, Spanish or Polish languages. There is no prior choir experience needed to join, as the group is happy to teach music skills and foreign languages as needed. The Shrine choir welcomes singers from all voice parts. Opportunities are also available for individuals interested in cantering Masses as well. The group also encourages piano/organ players to participate.
